Awards review
Approve chair nominations before ceremony
Chairs submit scored nominations with evidence statements. SMT reviews the pending queue in a table — approve by award type or reject to advance backup ranks.
- Pending nominations table with rubric scores
- Evidence-gated approve actions per award type
Award submissions by chairs
Committees submit scored nominations (SEAMUNs-style bands). For each committee and award type, SMT reviews the chair's current preference first (Top 1). Read the evidence statement, then approve or reject. Rejecting moves to the next backup rank (Top 2, then Top 3 for Honourable Mention where applicable). Overall Best Delegate is decided in the ladder above — not in this table.
Approval is blocked until the chair's evidence statement is at least 40 characters. Reject if the evidence does not support the nomination.
| Committee | Rank | Award type | Nominee | Rubric | Evidence | Approve / reject |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ECOSOC | Top 1 | Best Delegate (committee) | Norway — Erik L. | 14/16P/P/E/E | Led bloc coordination on operative clauses and spoke clearly in moderated caucus without exceeding time. | |
| ECOSOC | Top 1 | Honourable Mention (committee) | Kenya — Amina O. | 12/16D/P/P/E | Strong research in position paper and constructive amendments; quieter in unmoderated but reliable in roll call. | |
| Legal | Top 1 | Best Position Paper (committee) | Mexico — Luis R. | 13/16P/D/P/E | Position paper cited treaty language accurately and mapped solutions to committee mandate with clear structure. |
